MY SPLURGE FOR KELLY

Just to begin with the ever so cliche rhetorical question, may I ask you a question? (No not that one but this one.) -> Why is it that some teachers feel it's necessary to take their upper level division (any 3300 or 4300 course) students on a 'field trip' to the library to learn how to look things up on a database? Think about it. Don't they make you do something similar in the lame ass class also known as university seminar? Don't they make you do that in your beginner's English class?

Honestly though. It's really fucking lame. Don't take this as me being rude. I just think that it is a huge frustration to waist a class on making a trip to the library for the same speech we've repeatedly heard since our freshman year. In all honesty, if you don't know how to operate a search engine by the time you are in your upper level courses, then how did you make it that far? Please don't waist the money that I am paying towards this education just to show me that you should put exact phrases in quotations when making a search. It's a waist of my time, my money, and your hopes that I am actually paying attention.
